Adjustments to Toronto Teams’ Schedules to Support the Blue Jays in the World Series<\/h2>\n\nToronto, Canada \u2013 The Maple Leafs and the Raptors have modified the schedules of their upcoming games to avoid overlapping with the Blue Jays World Series games.\n\n\n

“Sports fans in Toronto are undoubtedly some of the most passionate in the world, and we are proud that the city’s teams are coming together to give these fans the opportunity to experience a significant moment in the history of our city and nation,” said Keith Pelley, President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Maple Leafs and Raptors.<\/p>\n\nKeith Pelley, President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe Rogers Centre, located in downtown Toronto, will host games 1 and 2 of the World Series this Friday and Saturday. Each game in the best-of-seven series is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET.\n\nThe Raptors’ home opener against Milwaukee, scheduled for Friday, was moved up from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Maple Leafs’ game against Buffalo, scheduled for Saturday, was moved up from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nThe Leafs also adjusted the start time of next Tuesday’s game against Calgary to 6 p.m. The Raptors will host Houston at 6:30 p.m. on October 29. Games 3-5 of the World Series are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.\n\n\n
