A Florida judge awarded him a default judgment of over $5 million in his lawsuit against the online platform Fanmio.\n\nJudge Beatrice Butchko Sanchez approved Masvidal&#8217;s request after an arbitrator awarded the former BMF champion $5,315,268.64, plus post-judgment interest, related to his 2024 boxing match against Nate Diaz.\n\nMasvidal sued Fanmio in January, alleging that his agreement for the fight with Diaz included a $6 million purse, plus an additional million if he won. Masvidal lost the fight by decision and stated that he only received a $150,000 advance and a $1 million payment.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>A referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, and with the final approval, this matter has been resolved.<\/p><cite>Alofoke Deportes<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHowever, Fanmio still faces litigation with other fighters.\n\nNate Diaz filed a lawsuit against Fanmio two weeks later, claiming more than $9 million. An arbitrator awarded Diaz $6 million, in addition to attorney&#8217;s fees.
