Darren Waller to Injured Reserve<\/h2>\n\nMiami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a pectoral injury during last week’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.\n\nWaller was injured in the first half of Sunday’s game and did not return to the game. This was his fourth game of the season, after missing the first three due to a hip injury suffered during training camp.\n\n\n

It was a soft tissue issue. It’s a situation where you’d probably be living with the hope of seeing him in the next games, but he will be diligent. This means a lot to him, but that’s where I am right now with the information I have.<\/p>Mike McDaniel, Dolphins Coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nWaller had an impactful season debut in Week 4, with three receptions for 27 yards and two touchdowns. The following week, he achieved 78 yards and a touchdown on five receptions against the Carolina Panthers, all in the first half.\n\nHowever, since then he has only recorded two receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown in two games, while the Dolphins’ passing offense has struggled during their three-game losing streak.\n\nWaller will be eligible to return against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. Miami has a bye in Week 11.
