This event will mark a significant milestone for boxing in Africa.\n\nThe billboard will also feature the participation of the promising British heavyweight David Adeleye, who has Nigerian roots. This event promises to be a spectacle full of action for the fans.\n\nOkolie, former cruiserweight champion, was born in Nigeria and this will be his first professional fight on the African continent, an emerging market for boxing.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Top-level boxing comes to Lagos!<\/p><cite>Lawrence Okolie<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nOkolie expressed his enthusiasm for this historic event:\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This will be a historic moment for Africa, my family, and my career. There has been a lot of conversation, but let&#8217;s see who really wants to dance. December got spicy.
