Las Vegas Aces Celebrate Victory with Triumphant Parade<\/h2>\n\n\nLas Vegas dressed up to celebrate the Aces’ third championship in four years, with an unforgettable parade down the famous Strip. The celebration took place eight years after the WNBA and the NBA Board of Governors confirmed the relocation of the San Antonio Stars to Las Vegas.\n\n\n

We’re back!<\/p>Mark Davis, owner of the Aces<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe parade, led by classic low-rider<\/em> cars, went down Las Vegas Boulevard. Five double-decker buses transported the Aces, who threw confetti and streamers at the thousands of fans who had gathered hours earlier.\n\nThe Aces overcame a season start with a 14-14 record and challenging playoff series, before sweeping the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Finals.\n\nThe Toshiba Plaza filled up to celebrate the fourth professional championship since 2022, with three titles for the Aces and the Stanley Cup for the NHL’s Golden Knights in 2023.\n\n\n

We should do it again next year.<\/p>Becky Hammon, Aces coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHammon, who completed her fourth season with the Aces, highlighted that this year’s team was the easiest to manage.\n\n\n

They arrived and worked hard, regardless of the circumstances. They achieved 16 consecutive victories to finish the regular season and obtain the second position in the playoffs.\n\n\n

This is a special group; we pray together and celebrate with champagne.<\/p>A’ja Wilson, four-time MVP<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nA’ja Wilson, visibly emotional when talking about Hammon’s dedication, stated: “She believed in us when no one else did. We wouldn’t be here without Becky Hammon.”\n\nNaLyssa Smith, who joined the team mid-season, expressed: “You changed my life.”\n\nJackie Young, part of the team in the three championships, was concise: “Just know that this is not over.”\n\nThe celebration culminated with confetti, fireworks, and the song “We Are The Champions” by Queen. The live musical performances were by Crime Mob, Ludacris, and Mya.\n\n\n
