Bearman described Tsunoda&#8217;s driving as dangerous and a bad example for young aspiring drivers.\n\nThe tension between both drivers arose when Tsunoda, defending his position, forced Bearman to take evasive action to avoid an incident. Bearman, visibly annoyed, reacted firmly after the race.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cI felt that what he did was quite dangerous, against the spirit of how we should race and against the image we should project to the children growing up in karting and those things,\u201d Bearman declared.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Oliver Bearman<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nBearman went on to explain that Tsunoda performed dangerous maneuvers for several laps, and when trying to overtake, he did not leave enough space on the track, which forced Bearman to take action to avoid a collision.\n\nThe Haas driver, who finished in ninth place, considered that the incident prevented him from obtaining a better position. Bearman also criticized Tsunoda&#8217;s performance in the sprint race, where, according to him, he had similar actions.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a4.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0325%2Fr1469073_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n<em>Oliver Bearman finished ninth in the United States Grand Prix.<\/em>\n\nFor his part, Tsunoda downplayed the criticism, arguing that his actions were part of the competition.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cThat&#8217;s racing, right? I was totally in control, I had no lock-up, and I was literally side by side.
