The celebration took place eight years after the WNBA and the NBA Board of Governors confirmed the relocation of the San Antonio Stars to Las Vegas.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We&#8217;re back!<\/p><cite>Mark Davis, owner of the Aces<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nLed by a caravan of lowrider classic cars showing off their hydraulic systems, five double-decker buses traveled down Tropicana Boulevard to Las Vegas Boulevard. The last bus carried the Aces, who threw streamers and confetti at thousands of fans who gathered from four hours before the start of the parade.\n\nThe team overcame a season start with a 14-14 record and two very close playoff series before sweeping the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Finals.\n\nThe Toshiba Plaza was packed to celebrate the fourth professional championship since 2022, with three titles for the Aces and the Stanley Cup for the NHL&#8217;s Golden Knights in 2023.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We should do it again next year.<\/p><cite>Becky Hammon, Aces coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHammon, who completed her fourth season with the Aces, commented that this year&#8217;s team was the easiest to coach.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>They came and worked hard, no matter the circumstances. This is one of the groups with the most character and resilience.<\/p><cite>Becky Hammon, Aces coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nAfter losing several key players from their previous rosters, the Aces welcomed many new faces and needed almost three months to consolidate before achieving 16 consecutive wins to end the regular season and secure the second spot in the playoffs.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This is a special group, we pray together and celebrate with champagne.<\/p><cite>A&#8217;ja Wilson, four-time MVP<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nA&#8217;ja Wilson, visibly emotional when talking about Hammon&#8217;s dedication to each player, added: &#8220;She believed in us when no one else did.
