The player is expected to be free to sign with another team after 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Lockett signed a one-year contract with the Titans worth up to $6 million. The franchise hoped Lockett would bring his experience to the receiving corps and help young quarterback Cam Ward adapt to the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>In seven games, Lockett had 10 receptions for 70 yards, playing 181 offensive snaps (44.7%).<\/p>\n<p>The Titans currently have a record of 1-6 and last week fired coach Brian Callahan.<\/p>\n<p>Lockett spent the first 10 years of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, where he became the second-most productive receiver in franchise history.
