Warriors superstar Stephen Curry does not expect to be able to return to the court on Wednesday for Game 5, with Golden State’s season on the line, according to Andscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curry responded to a comment from his teammate Draymond Green, who stated that the Warriors will not force their star’s return if he is not fully recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Without Curry, the Warriors lost Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, falling behind 3-1 in the series. Now, they must win in Minneapolis in Game 5 to keep their championship hopes alive, and they will likely do so without Curry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Curry suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain in his left hamstring in the second quarter of Game 1. He will be re-evaluated on Wednesday, Game 5 day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the Warriors manage to extend the series, Curry could have three more days of recovery before a possible Game 6 at the Chase Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jimmy Butler, who had 33 points in Game 3, only scored 14 points in Game 4. Green mentioned that Butler wasn’t feeling well all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warriors will need Butler in top form to keep their season alive, especially with Curry possibly needing more time to recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wolves’ star guard, Anthony Edwards, who scored 30 points in Game 4, expressed his desire to play against Curry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
