Masvidal lost the fight by decision and claimed to have received only a $150,000 advance and a $1 million payment.\n\nThe referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, and with final approval, the matter is resolved. However, Fanmio still faces litigation with other fighters.\n\nNate Diaz filed a lawsuit against Fanmio two weeks after the Masvidal case, claiming a debt of over $9 million. An arbitrator awarded Diaz $6 million, in addition to attorney&#8217;s fees. This case is still awaiting final approval.\n\nIn March, Fanmio filed a lawsuit against Golden Boy Promotions and Ryan Garcia for a canceled exhibition match with Rukiya Anpo, scheduled for December 31, 2024.
