Jorge Masvidal Wins Legal Victory, Millions Awarded Against Fanmio<\/h2>\n\n\nUFC veteran Jorge Masvidal has secured a significant legal victory. A Florida judge awarded him a default judgment of over $5 million in his lawsuit against the online platform Fanmio.\n\nJudge Beatrice Butchko Sanchez approved Masvidal’s request, following the ruling of an arbitrator who awarded the former BMF champion $5,315,268.64, in addition to post-judgment interest related to his boxing match.\n\nMasvidal sued Fanmio in January, alleging that his agreement for the fight against Nate Diaz included a purse of $6 million, plus an additional million if he won. Masvidal lost the fight by decision and claimed to have received only a $150,000 advance and a $1 million payment.\n\nThe referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, and with final approval, the matter is resolved. However, Fanmio still faces lawsuits from other fighters.\n\n\n

Post Title<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nNate Diaz also filed a lawsuit against Fanmio, claiming more than 9 million dollars. An arbitrator awarded Diaz 6 million dollars, in addition to attorney’s fees.
