A Florida judge awarded him a default judgment of over $5 million in his lawsuit against the online platform Fanmio.\n\nJudge Beatrice Butchko Sanchez approved Masvidal&#8217;s request, after an arbitrator awarded the former BMF champion $5,315,268.64, plus post-judgment interest stemming from his boxing match.\n\nMasvidal sued Fanmio in January, alleging that his agreement for the fight against Nate Diaz included a purse of $6 million, plus an additional million if he won the fight. Masvidal lost the fight by decision and claimed to have received only an advance of $150,000 and a payment of $1 million.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>A referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, and with the final approval, this matter has been resolved.<\/p><cite>Alofoke Deportes<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHowever, Fanmio still faces litigation with other fighters.\n\nNate Diaz filed a lawsuit against Fanmio two weeks after Masvidal&#8217;s, claiming a debt of over $9 million. An arbitrator awarded Diaz $6 million, plus attorney&#8217;s fees.
