She was the first undisputed German champion, male or female, in the four-belt era.\n\nThe announcement was made last Saturday at the Bavarian Sports Awards in Munich, where she was named boxer of the year. Rupprecht also announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Markus Fritschi.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>My boxing career has officially ended.<\/p><cite>Tina Rupprecht<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nRupprecht expressed that he is starting a new stage in his life and that he feels it is the perfect moment. &#8220;I have reached a place where I always wanted to be, even much higher. Now, I&#8217;m done,&#8221; he added.\n\nDespite his retirement, Rupprecht assured that his love and passion for the sport will always remain.
