A Florida judge awarded Masvidal a default judgment of over $5 million in his lawsuit against the online platform Fanmio.\n\nJudge Beatrice Butchko Sanchez approved Masvidal&#8217;s request, following the ruling of an arbitrator who awarded the former BMF champion $5,315,268.64, plus post-judgment interest. This lawsuit originated from Masvidal&#8217;s boxing match against Nate Diaz.\n\nMasvidal sued Fanmio in January, alleging that his agreement for the fight with Diaz included a $6 million purse, plus an additional $1 million if he won. After losing the fight by decision, Masvidal claimed to have received only a $150,000 advance and a $1 million payment.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, resolving the matter with final approval.<\/p><cite>Alofoke Deportes<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHowever, Fanmio still faces litigation with other fighters.\n\nNate Diaz filed a lawsuit against Fanmio, claiming more than $9 million.
