Jorge Masvidal Wins Million-Dollar Lawsuit Against Fanmio<\/h2>\n\n\nUFC veteran Jorge Masvidal has secured a significant legal victory. A Florida judge has ruled in his favor, granting him a default judgment of over $5 million in his lawsuit against the online platform Fanmio.\n\nJudge Beatrice Butchko Sanchez signed Masvidal’s request, granting the sentence after an arbitration ruling that awarded the former BMF champion $5,315,268.64, plus post-judgment interest derived from his boxing match.\n\nMasvidal had sued Fanmio in January, arguing that the agreement for his fight against Nate Diaz included a purse of $6 million, plus an additional million if he won the fight. Masvidal lost the fight by decision and claimed to have received only a $150,000 advance and a $1 million payment.\n\nThe referee ruled in favor of Masvidal, and with final approval, the matter has been resolved.\n\nHowever, Fanmio still faces litigation with other fighters.\n\n\n
