The team has announced that there will be &#8220;consequences,&#8221; although what those are has not been specified.\n\nNorris nearly collided with Piastri, who currently leads him in the championship by 22 points, at the start of the race two weeks ago.\n\nThe contact occurred after Norris had to dodge Max Verstappen. Despite the incident, Norris maintained his position ahead of Piastri until the end of the race.\n\nPiastri expressed his discontent with the maneuver, suggesting on the radio that Norris should concede the position. However, McLaren did not make that decision during the race, although the team&#8217;s perspective seems to have changed since then.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The team held me responsible for what happened, which I think is fair.
