Flick Lauds Yamal After Barcelona’s Victory Over Real Madrid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick praised Lamine Yamal’s maturity after the young player contributed to his team’s victory over Real Madrid, bringing them closer to the LaLiga title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17-year-old Yamal scored Barcelona’s second goal with a brilliant shot that went into the corner from the edge of the area. The team came back after being behind on the scoreboard, after Kylian Mbapp\u00e9’s initial two goals, to reach halftime with a 4-2 lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbapp\u00e9 completed his hat-trick in the second half, which led to a tense finish, but Barcelona held firm at the Olympic Stadium to increase their lead over their rivals to seven points, with only three matches left to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is not a child. He is doing well. He is confident, self-confident, he believes in what he can do. He is also very intelligent.<\/p>Hansi Flick<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Flick highlighted the importance of Yamal’s goal and the quality he demonstrated at such a young age. Furthermore, he acknowledged that Yamal could have finished the match with several assists, although the lack of accuracy of his teammates, such as Raphinha, prevented his brilliant performance from translating into more goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barcelona now only needs two points to win LaLiga. They could secure the title on Thursday, when they face Espanyol, or even on Wednesday if Madrid drops points against Mallorca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flick’s team has already won the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey, defeating Madrid in both finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the defeat in the Champions League against Inter, few can deny that they have been one of the most exciting teams to watch in Europe this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flick admitted that, although the team has shown great offensive potential, it has also shown defensive weaknesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbapp\u00e9 converted a penalty to open the scoring and then found space to extend Madrid’s lead. Eric Garc\u00eda, Yamal, and Raphinha scored for Barcelona, securing a two-goal lead at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbapp\u00e9 scored again in the second half, while V\u00edctor Mu\u00f1oz and Mbapp\u00e9 missed chances to equalize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flick highlighted the team’s mentality and ability to come back. He acknowledged the need to improve the defense and reduce errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
