He remained in the game and went 0-for-3 with a walk, then was not in the lineup for Saturday&#8217;s 6-5 victory.<\/p>\n\n<p>Happ took swings and threw in the outfield on Sunday. Counsell indicated that the Cubs are not considering putting him on the injured list.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIt\u2019s fine,\u201d Counsell said before the Cubs concluded a three-game series against the Mets. \u201cWe didn\u2019t do any activity yesterday. Essentially today we\u2019re going to run around. He\u2019s going to hit. We\u2019ll see how it goes, but if he hits today, that\u2019s a good sign and we\u2019ll just evaluate what the day produces.\u201d<\/p><cite>Craig Counsell<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Happ is batting .269 with three home runs and 19 RBIs this season.
