Leclerc: “It’s not a pleasant feeling” after the Singapore Grand Prix<\/h2>\n\nFerrari driver Charles Leclerc expressed his disappointment after the Singapore Grand Prix, calling the team’s current situation “not a pleasant feeling.” Leclerc, who finished in sixth position, lamented the lack of competitiveness of the car and the need to manage problems during the race.\n\nFerrari has yet to achieve a victory in the 2026 season, while McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes have secured wins, demonstrating a clear superiority.\n\nGeorge Russell of Mercedes took the victory in Singapore, while Leclerc and his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, struggled with brake issues, finishing in sixth and eighth position respectively.\n\n\n

Unfortunately, we don’t have the race car to fight with those at the front. McLaren always had the same gap to us compared to the beginning of the year. Red Bull took a step from Monza and the same level of McLaren. Mercedes is now at the same level as McLaren and Red Bull, and then there’s us, and obviously it’s not easy because you want to fight for better positions. But for the moment, it seems we are like passengers in the car and can’t extract much more than what’s there to save the rest of the season.<\/p>Charles Leclerc<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nCompared to the previous year, Ferrari was in a more competitive position, challenging McLaren in the constructors’ championship. However, this season, Ferrari has not managed to match McLaren’s pace.\n\nLeclerc tried to maintain an optimistic attitude about the season.\n\n\n

I wouldn’t describe it as the most difficult season.
