The Toronto Maple Leafs, who started with a 2-0 lead over the current champions, the Florida Panthers, suffered a setback when the Panthers secured a victory thanks to Brad Marchand’s overtime goal. The series now stands at 2-1, and both teams will face off in Game 4 on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the other Eastern Conference semifinal, the top-seeded Washington Capitals fell to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 1, although the Capitals responded in Game 2. Game 3 will be played on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
