Sunday&#8217;s race was full of excitement, especially for Joey Logano, who managed to advance to the third round of the NASCAR playoffs in a thrilling finish.\n\nLogano found himself in an intense battle with Ross Chastain, who was in danger of being eliminated. The tension reached its peak when a crash on the last lap between Chastain and Denny Hamlin changed the course of the competition.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI didn&#8217;t know anything that was going on. I thought I was racing for 18th. I wish I would have known to prepare or make a different decision,\u201d Hamlin stated.<\/p><cite>Denny Hamlin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe competition reduced the group of drivers from twelve to eight. Logano&#8217;s luck seemed uncertain, as attention focused on whether van Gisbergen would be stopped. Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell tried to challenge van Gisbergen, but the New Zealand driver emerged victorious.\n\nvan Gisbergen&#8217;s victory dashed the hopes of Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace, as well as those of Austin Cindric. Although Ross Chastain remained in contention, Logano failed to secure his playoff position until the end.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe&#8217;re still alive, let&#8217;s go!\u201d, exclaimed Logano, celebrating amidst the reactions of the public. \u201cIf you want drama, the playoffs bring it every time. What an entertaining final! We still have a chance\u201d.<\/p><cite>Joey Logano<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nChastain, for his part, regretted the mistakes made during the race, including penalties for speeding.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s heartbreaking for nearly 200 employees at Trackhouse.
