Emotional Tribute to Thomas M\u00fcller in His Farewell from Bayern Munich<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bayern Munich fans paid a touching tribute to Thomas M\u00fcller in his last home match with the club this Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fans displayed an impressive red and white tifo behind one of the goals, with images of M\u00fcller celebrating and lifting trophies, accompanied by his name in giant letters. A banner above the tifo read: “For 25 years, everything for our colors!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the club’s directors presented M\u00fcller, 35, with a photograph of himself with all the trophies he has won with the Bavarian giant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00fcller started the match, his 502nd appearance in the Bundesliga. He played until the 84th minute, when he was substituted amid a deafening ovation. M\u00fcller will leave at the end of the season after winning a record 13 league titles, among others, with the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, it was announced that this would be M\u00fcller’s last season with the club. The player wished to extend his contract despite having limited playing time, but Bayern’s management considered it more prudent to save his considerable salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
