PBC representatives expressed their desire to reschedule the fight as soon as possible, once the severity of Fundora&#8217;s injury and recovery time are determined.\n\nThe co-main event, which was to pit WBC super lightweight champion O&#8217;Shaquie Foster against featherweight champion Stephen Fulton, will also be rescheduled for a later date. This is the second time the Foster-Fulton matchup has been rescheduled, as it was initially planned for August on a card that included a fight between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach that ultimately did not materialize.\n\nFundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) was hoping to fight for the third time in 2025. This year he achieved knockouts over Tim Tszyu and Chordale Booker. The fight against Thurman represented an important title defense for &#8220;The Towering Inferno&#8221;.\n\nThurman (36-1, 23 KOs) aimed to obtain the super welterweight title for the second time. In March, Thurman was forced to withdraw from a WBC title fight against Tszyu due to an injury, being replaced by Fundora, who achieved victory and the title.
