Instead, Milwaukee included right-handed pitcher Tobias Myers, who was not on the Brewers’ roster for their National League Division Series with the Chicago Cubs. Game 1 of the National League Championship Series is Monday in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n
The Dodgers also altered their bullpen for this series. They added one more pitcher by including right-handed pitcher Ben Casparius and leaving out Dalton Rushing, who had been one of three catchers on their National League Division Series roster. Rushing struck out in his only at-bat in the National League Division Series.<\/p>\n
The Los Angeles National League Championship Series bullpen will also include left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski, who was added to the National League Division Series roster after Tanner Scott underwent surgical removal of an abscess due to a lower body infection before the final game of the National League Division Series matchup with Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
Because Scott was removed from the National League Division Series roster during the series, he became ineligible for the National League Championship Series.<\/p>\n
Mears went 5-3 with a 3.49 ERA for the Brewers during the regular season. He pitched 1 2\/3 scoreless innings in the National League Division Series.<\/p>\n
Myers went 1-2 with a 3.55 ERA for Milwaukee in 22 appearances, including six starts. This followed a rookie season in 2024 in which he went 9-6 with a 3.00 ERA while starting 25 of his 27 appearances. Myers also allowed just two hits in five scoreless innings while starting Game 3 of the Brewers’ loss in the National League Wild Card Series against the New York Mets last season.<\/p>\n
The Milwaukee National League Championship Series roster also does not include two-time All-Star pitcher Brandon Woodruff, as he continues to recover from a right lat strain.<\/p>\n
Casparius went 7-5 with a 4.64 ERA in 46 appearances this season.
