It was probably the hardest 20 laps I’ve driven.<\/p>Ryan Blaney<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nBlaney, who is seeking to reach the championship final for the third consecutive year, became the first driver to secure a spot among the eight available for the third round of the playoffs.\n\n

Penske’s guys were super fast. I felt like they were on another level.<\/p>William Byron<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nLogano finished fourth after leading 147 laps with the number 22 Ford.\n\nBlaney was incredibly fast in practice, and he showed it again in the race.\n\nChase Elliott, after qualifying in 27th place, finished fifth.\n\nChristopher Bell was sixth, being the highest-ranked Toyota.\n\nKyle Larson finished seventh and Ross Chastain ninth, with eight of the top ten positions occupied by playoff drivers.\n\n

Clash between teammates<\/h2>\n\nThe race had a tense moment on lap 110 when Denny Hamlin spun his teammate Ty Gibbs into the wall.\n\nHamlin questioned over team radio if Gibbs was receiving preferential treatment.\n\nGibbs briefly returned to the track before being forced to retire with damage to his Camry and finished in 34th place.\n\n
