This victory secures her a place in the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Sabalenka, current US Open champion, had already won the Wuhan Open title in 2018, 2019 and last year, marking her return to the Chinese city.<\/p>\n<p>In a match that lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes, the world number one, Sabalenka, managed to break Rybakina&#8217;s serve on three occasions. At the end, the tennis player sent greetings and kisses to the audience present.<\/p>\n<p>Coco Gauff, the third seed, also secured her place in the semifinals with a convincing 6-3, 6-0 victory over Laura Siegemund. This is the second consecutive semifinal for Gauff.<\/p>\n<p>Gauff will face Iga Swiatek, number 2 in the ranking, or Jasmine Paolini in the next round, who faced each other in a later match.<\/p>\n<p>For her part, Sabalenka will face Jessica Pegula, sixth seed, who previously needed a third set to obtain her seventh consecutive victory.
