The main event will be headlined by two matches for the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s Crown Jewel championships.\n\nThe Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, will face the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, in a match. In addition, the WWE Women&#8217;s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, will face the new Women&#8217;s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer.\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Battles and Statistics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Men&#8217;s Crown Jewel Championship)<\/li>\n<li>Stephanie Vaquer vs. Tiffany Stratton (WWE Women&#8217;s Crown Jewel Championship)<\/li>\n<li>John Cena vs. AJ Styles<\/li>\n<li>Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane<\/li>\n<li>Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\nBefore this year, six Crown Jewel events have been held. The 2025 edition will mark the first time the event is held outside of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first Crown Jewel took place on November 2, 2018, with D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) versus The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) as the main event.\n\nRoman Reigns has participated in more Crown Jewel main events than anyone (3). Reigns has an overall record of 4-1 at Crown Jewel and 3-0 in main events.\n\n<h3>Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Crown Jewel Men&#8217;s Championship)<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a2.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F1005%2Fr1555655_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nCody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins seeking to win his second consecutive Crown Jewel championship. In 2024, Rhodes defeated Gunther, then world heavyweight champion. Rhodes has a 2-0 record at Crown Jewel, having also defeated Damian Priest in 2023.\n\nRhodes has an overall record of 5-1 in PLEs in 2025. His only defeat was at WrestleMania 41 in April, when John Cena defeated him for the WWE championship.\n\nRollins has wrestled at every Crown Jewel except one (2022). Overall, he has a 3-3 record, including a victory over his current teammate The Vision, Bronson Reed, at last year&#8217;s event.\n\nRollins has an overall record of 4-3 in PLEs in 2025. His most notable victory was his shortest match when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated CM Punk at SummerSlam to become World Heavyweight Champion in August.\n\n<h3>Tiffany Stratton vs. Stephanie Vaquer (WWE Women&#8217;s Crown Jewel Championship)<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F1005%2Fr1555653_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nWrestlepalooza was Vaquer&#8217;s first singles match at a WWE PLE (excluding NXT). In early 2025, he participated in three multi-person matches, including the Royal Rumble, the Money in the Bank ladder match, and the No. 1 contender Battle Royal at WWE Evolution.\n\nStratton has a 4-0 record in WWE PLE matches in 2025. Upon arriving at Crown Jewel, Stratton will have been WWE Women&#8217;s Champion for 281 days. She has never wrestled Vaquer.\n\nThe inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Women&#8217;s Champion was Liv Morgan. In 2024, as the Women&#8217;s World Champion, she defeated then-WWE Women&#8217;s Champion Nia Jax to earn the honor.\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John Cena vs. AJ Styles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a2.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F1005%2Fr1555691_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nCena and Styles began their story at WWE PLEs at Money in the Bank in 2016, a match that Styles won. They have faced each other individually at three PLE events: Money in the Bank (2016), SummerSlam (2016), and Royal Rumble (2017). Styles has a 2-1 advantage in those matches, but Cena won the most recent match at Royal Rumble, where he defeated Styles to win his 16th WWE Championship, tying Ric Flair for the most world championship reigns.\n\nCena has a PLE record of 5-4 in 2025 during his farewell tour. His first win in a PLE of the year took place in March, when he won the men&#8217;s Elimination Chamber match. He was defeated in his last match by Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza last month.\n\nCena has only fought once at Crown Jewel (2023), when Solo Sikoa defeated him by pinfall.\n\nStyles has a 2-2 record at Crown Jewel. His two victories occurred at the first two Crown Jewels. In 2018, he defeated Samoa Joe to retain the WWE Championship, and in 2019, he retained the United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo.\n\nStyles&#8217; last victory at a WWE PLE was on November 26, 2022, at Survivor Series: WarGames against Finn B\u00e1lor.\n\n<h3>Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a1.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F1005%2Fr1555654_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nAlthough Ripley will team up with her at Crown Jewel, Sky was an opponent in three of Ripley&#8217;s five PLE matches in 2025. Ripley has a 0-3 record in those matches. In fact, the only time Ripley defeated Sky on the main roster was when she won the 2023 Women&#8217;s Royal Rumble.\n\nThe last WWE PLE that took place in Perth was the Elimination Chamber of 2024. Ripley defeated Nia Jax in the main event to retain the Women&#8217;s World Championship.\n\nThe first Sky match at Crown Jewel was in 2022, also a tag team match, and also involved Asuka.
