Arturo Gatti Jr., Son of Boxing Icon, Dies at 17<\/h2>\n\nThe World Boxing Association (WBA) confirmed this Wednesday the death of Arturo Gatti Jr., son of the legendary boxer and Hall of Fame member, Arturo Gatti, at the age of 17.\n\n\n

\u201cThe WBA and the boxing world mourn the loss of Arturo Gatti Jr. His path was just beginning, but his spirit will live forever, now reunited with his legendary father among the stars\u201d, reads the organization’s statement.<\/p>World Boxing Association<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe news began to circulate on social media and was confirmed by Chuck Zito, Gatti Sr.’s former bodyguard, through a social media post.\n\n\n
