Leclerc expresses frustration after the Singapore Grand Prix<\/h2>\n\nFerrari driver Charles Leclerc shared his feelings after the Singapore Grand Prix, describing the team’s current situation as “not a pleasant feeling.” Leclerc has had to reassess expectations regarding the performance of the Ferrari car, while his rivals compete for victories.\n\nWhile Ferrari has yet to achieve a victory in 2026, teams like McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes have secured wins, with at least two each, and all have won since the summer break.\n\nGeorge Russell of Mercedes secured his second victory of the year at the Singapore Grand Prix, while Leclerc and his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, struggled to reach sixth and eighth place, respectively, due to brake problems.\n\nLeclerc commented that, from the eighth lap onwards, the race focused on brake management, which made the competition very difficult.\n\nA video of Leclerc having to lift off the accelerator to save energy, while being overtaken by the Mercedes driver, Kimi Antonelli, went viral after the race.\n\n\n

Leclerc admitted that it is not easy, as the team wants to fight for better positions, but they currently feel that they are “passengers” and cannot get much more out of what is there.\n\nCompared to the previous year, Ferrari was competing with McLaren in the constructors’ championship.\n\nFerrari took that battle to the last race of the year, where Lando Norris’s victory was enough for McLaren to take the championship.\n\nHowever, Ferrari has not matched McLaren’s pace this season, and the British team secured the championship with six races to spare.\n\nLeclerc tried to show an optimistic attitude when asked about the overall season.\n\n\n
