In this tournament, 10 amateurs will face 22 professionals.\n\nThe overall winner will receive a prize of AUS$1 million ($700,000), an amount slightly less than what the semi-finalists in the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s main draw will receive.\n\nThe event, which will be held during the opening weekend of the Grand Slam, follows the US Open&#8217;s attempt to attract new audiences to tennis by expanding its mixed doubles competition.\n\nThe &#8220;One Point Slam&#8221; will be developed as its name indicates: each match will consist of a single point.
