However, the situation took a radical turn in the fourth inning, when Judge hit a ball that impacted the foul pole in left field, tying the score and unleashing euphoria in the fanbase.\n\n\n

With the season on the line, the Yankees exhibited character and determination, avoiding elimination and tying the series.\n\nStarting pitcher Carlos Rod\u00f3n struggled, allowing six runs, including another home run by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Toronto was dominating until the New York bullpen came into action, silencing the Canadian offense.\n\nJudge, with an outstanding postseason performance, shone again at the crucial moment. His home run, against a 99.7 mph fastball, was the first recorded in the pitch tracking era (since 2008) against such a fast and inside pitch.\n\nThe Yankees manager highlighted the importance of Judge’s hit, stating that “that swing changed everything.” The captain not only excelled with the bat, but also with a spectacular catch in right field, demonstrating his total impact on the game.\n\nBen Rice contributed a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning to extend the lead, while the bullpen completed 6.2 innings of scoreless relief.
