Delgado, known for his work with Andy Murray, will assume a key role in the team, accompanying Draper in most tournaments.\n\nThis decision implies a significant change in the team’s structure, as James Trotman, who has been a constant figure in Draper’s trajectory, will continue to be involved, but Delgado will take the reins as head coach.\n\nDelgado, a former British Davis Cup player and holder of the record for consecutive Wimbledon appearances with 23, worked with Murray from 2016, initially alongside Ivan Lendl, during the most successful period of the Scot’s career.\n\nDelgado’s experience on the professional circuit is notable.
