Tyjae Spears Cleared to Play for the Titans<\/h2>\n\nNashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans have activated running back Tyjae Spears from the injured list, according to the team’s announcement before Sunday’s game in Arizona.\n\n\n

I’m super excited. The emotions have built up during the week and I can’t wait to play again.<\/p>Tyjae Spears<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nSpears was placed on the injured list after suffering a sprained ankle in the first preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 9.\n\nThe injury occurred just before halftime when Spears caught a pass from the backfield for a 13-yard gain. Spears underwent a procedure on his ankle before beginning the rehabilitation process. He worked on a sideline during the last few weeks with the Titans’ trainers.\n\nTitans coach Brian Callahan said before the season that he wanted a more balanced workload between Spears and Tony Pollard, who had 260 carries last season.\n\n\n

In a perfect world, it’s a healthier division of labor [between Pollard and Spears]. I like both players a lot.
