Berry got within a few car lengths with ten laps to go.\n\nBlaney secured the victory with a 0.937-second lead, adding his third win of the season and the sixteenth of his career.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>That was probably the 20 most difficult laps I&#8217;ve driven.<\/p><cite>Ryan Blaney<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nBlaney, who is looking to reach the Championship 4 final for the third consecutive year, became the first driver to secure a spot in the third round of the playoffs.\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a2.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0921%2Fr1549125_1024x576_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption>El piloto de la NASCAR Cup Series, Ryan Blaney (12), celebra tras ganar el Mobil 1 301 en el New Hampshire Motor Speedway.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nJosh Berry, who spun on lap 82, managed to recover and finish in second place, demonstrating the competitiveness of his Ford. The same trio led 273 of the 301 laps.\n\nWilliam Byron, in a Chevrolet, finished in third place.\n\nJoey Logano, for his part, finished fourth after leading the most laps (147). Chase Elliott achieved fifth place, despite having qualified in the 27th position.\n\nChristopher Bell was the best Toyota, finishing in sixth place.\n\nThe race had a tense moment for Joe Gibbs Racing on lap 110, when Denny Hamlin spun his teammate Ty Gibbs.\n\nHamlin questioned by radio if Gibbs was receiving preferential treatment.\n\nTy Gibbs, after suffering damage, abandoned the race and finished in 34th position.\n\nHamlin, after finishing in 12th position, had a conversation with Joe Gibbs.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It&#8217;s a shame he got that touch, and obviously the contact came from us.<\/p><cite>Denny Hamlin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nThe next race of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs will be on Sunday at Kansas Speedway.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a race where the Fords demonstrated their speed at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Ryan Blaney took the victory in the first race of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
