This was the Lithuanian’s fourth fight since 2022.

Now, Stanionis will seek a world title in a new weight category, although his victory at this agreed weight is not enough to position him in the super welterweight division.

Following his move up from welterweight, Stanionis has been removed from the 147-pound rankings. Souleymane Cissokho enters the rankings at number 10.

Here are the boxing rankings by division, with the best exponents of the sport in each category.

The rankings will be updated according to recent results and the performance of the boxers. Fighters who have announced their change of category will be included in the new division, if applicable, once they have fought in it. Boxers holding titles in two divisions may be ranked in both.

Boxers who have not competed in the last 12 months, and do not have a scheduled fight, will be removed from the rankings until they fight again. Any boxer who tests positive for performance-enhancing substances will also be removed. This boxer may re-enter the rankings after their next fight.

Here are the rankings for the different categories:

Heavyweight

Cruiserweight

Light Heavyweight

Super Middleweight

Middleweight

Super Welterweight

Welterweight

Super Lightweight

Lightweight

Super Featherweight

Featherweight

Super Bantamweight

Bantamweight

Super Flyweight

Flyweight

Light Flyweight

Strawweight

HEAVY (UNLIMITED)

Oleksandr Usyk retains the heavyweight championship with another decision victory over Tyson Fury, this time unanimously in an epic rematch.

1.
