In an interview with The Associated Press, Ross stated that it would be &#8220;incredible&#8221; to return to the dugout with the Braves.\n\nRoss, who managed the Cubs for four seasons (2020-2023), with a record of 262-284, avoided delving into his aspirations without knowing if he will be considered as a candidate to replace Brian Snitker.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cObviously, Atlanta would be incredible, but there&#8217;s not much to elaborate on,\u201d Ross said, adding that he is aware of having been mentioned in speculative lists. \u201cI don&#8217;t want to talk about something that is not yet founded. I hope my name comes up, but we&#8217;ll wait and see.\u201d<\/p><cite>David Ross<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nBrian Snitker, who announced his departure after ten seasons as Braves manager, will be replaced on the team. Snitker achieved 811 victories, six National League East Division titles, a wild card appearance, and the 2021 World Series championship.\n\nDavid Ross, a native of Bainbridge, Georgia, played for the Braves between 2009 and 2012. During his playing career, he had a batting average of .229.
