I think he made good decisions, we ran the ball well, I think we controlled the game for the most part.<\/p>Brian Daboll, Giants head coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nDart completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards, one touchdown and 54 rushing yards with another score. He became the second player since 2000 to achieve a touchdown pass, one rushing and 50 rushing yards in his first start, emulating Tim Tebow in 2010.\n\nThe victory held a special meaning for Dart, who played in front of his family. “Obviously, this experience was special, being the first,” stated the quarterback.\n\nThe encounter marked a turning point for the Giants (1-3), after a complicated start to the season. Dart shared the emotion of the moment with offensive lineman Jon Runyan Jr. Coach Daboll, visibly excited, celebrated the victory with his young quarterback, highlighting the importance of the triumph.\n\nThe pressure was on Daboll, who needed results after a difficult previous season. Dart, grateful for the trust placed in him, expressed his commitment to the coach: “Me and Dabs have a special relationship. He’s the one who believed in me from day one.”\n\nDart proved his worth, taking hard hits to help his team. I have a lot of confidence in our rookie quarterback. But he’s a rookie quarterback, so there will be mistakes that will be made. We know that. There will be more next week, there were some this week.
