The fight was an eliminator for the IBF title.

Paro’s debut was not without drama, as he had to overcome significant damage to his left eye and was shaken on several occasions. However, Paro had a strong start and finish to get the decision and the number 7 spot in the rankings. With Paro’s move up to welterweight, Lindolfo Delgado joins the super lightweight rankings at number 10.

In the strawweight category, Oscar Collazo retained his WBO and WBA titles by stopping Jayson Vayson. It was a competitive fight that Vayson seemed to be dominating until his corner inexplicably stopped the fight in the seventh round.

Divisional boxing rankings highlight the best in the sport in each weight category. These rankings are adjusted based on recent results and performances. Boxers who have announced their move to a different weight category will be ranked in that new division, only once they fight in it. Boxers who currently hold titles in two divisions may be ranked in both.

Boxers who have not competed in the last 12 months, and who do not have a scheduled fight, will be removed from the rankings until they fight again. Any boxer who tests positive for a performance-enhancing substance will also be removed. That boxer may re-enter the rankings after their next fight.

To see the list of current champions in all weight categories, here.

To see the women’s divisional rankings, here.

HEAVYWEIGHT (NO LIMIT)

Description: Oleksandr Usyk defeats Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in the rematch.
