On Friday, he hit his 30th home run of the season, a milestone that makes him the first player in franchise history to reach 30 RBIs, 30 stolen bases, and 30 doubles in the same season.

This achievement also places him as the sixth player in the Major Leagues this season to record at least 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases.

Crow-Armstrong joins Sammy Sosa as the second Cubs player to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases. Sosa achieved this feat in 1993 and 1995.

This season, other players who have reached this mark are Corbin Carroll of Arizona, Jazz Chisholm Jr. of the New York Yankees, Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto of the New York Mets, and José Ramírez of Cleveland.

After the game, Crow-Armstrong expressed his satisfaction with this achievement.

I think this means I’ve improved in the last few years. However, this was only his second home run in his last 29 games and the third in his last 55.

Despite his outstanding defense, Crow-Armstrong’s performance with the bat has declined in the second half of the season. His batting average, which was .273 on August 1, has dropped to .245.

Matt Dirksen/Chicago Cubs/Getty Images

Crow-Armstrong reflected on his performance this season.

It’s been a season divided into two halves.
