I felt like they were in another league.<\/p><cite>William Byron<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nLogano finished fourth after leading 147 laps.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[Blaney] was incredibly fast in practice and showed it again in the race.<\/p><cite>Joey Logano<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nChase Elliott, who qualified in 27th place, achieved a fifth position.\n\nChristopher Bell finished sixth, being the best Toyota.\n\nKyle Larson and Ross Chastain finished seventh and ninth, respectively.\n\nThe race had a tense moment for Joe Gibbs Racing on lap 110, when Denny Hamlin caused his teammate, Ty Gibbs, to crash into the wall.\n\nHamlin questioned by radio to his team if Gibbs was receiving preferential treatment.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Do you know that we are running for a championship?<\/p><cite>Denny Hamlin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nGibbs, who finished in 34th place, declined to comment on the incident.\n\nHamlin, after finishing in 12th place, had a conversation with Joe Gibbs and JGR&#8217;s competition director, Chris Gabehart.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It&#8217;s very unfortunate that he crashed there, and obviously the contact came from us.<\/p><cite>Denny Hamlin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nThe second race of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs will be on Sunday at Kansas Speedway.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a race dominated by Fords at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Ryan Blaney took the victory in the first race of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
