Guadalajara \u2013 The Dominican Republic’s women’s volleyball team achieved an epic victory over Puerto Rico this Sunday, securing the bronze medal in the 2025 NORCECA Final Six Tournament. The match, full of emotion and changes, culminated with a score of 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-13).<\/p>\n
The match, played to the last point, demonstrated the tenacity and talent of both teams. The Dominicans, after a promising start, saw how Puerto Rico rallied to take the lead. However, the determination of the Dominican team was key to reversing the situation.<\/p>\n
Madeline Guill\u00e9n led the Dominican attack with an impressive performance, accumulating 24 points. Alondra Tapia contributed 17 points and Massiel Matos added 13. Yaneiris Rodr\u00edguez, with her excellent defensive performance, was fundamental to the triumph.<\/p>\n
