Topuria used social media to express his confidence in knocking out Crawford if they were to face each other in the ring.\n\nCrawford responded to Topuria’s statements, calling him “delusional” and “drunk”.\n\nOn the night of the fight, Topuria criticized Crawford’s choice to enter the ring with “Canci\u00f3n del Mariachi” from the movie “Desperado”, a song that Topuria also uses.
