In a demonstration of tenacity, both Pegula and Navarro came back in their respective singles matches. Pegula, currently ranked number 7, managed to defeat Katie Boulter with scores of 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. For her part, Navarro, number 18 in the world, defeated Sonay Kartal with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.<\/p>\n
The final of the competition, formerly known as the Fed Cup, will pit the United States against the current champion, Italy.<\/p>\n
