On Saturday, Koepka achieved five consecutive birdies in the second half of the course, finishing with a score of 65 strokes, six under par.\n\nThis outstanding performance allowed him to share the lead of the tournament, seeking his first victory in over a year.\n\nMin Woo Lee also stayed in the running, signing a round of 68 strokes and tying with Koepka at the top of the leaderboard with a cumulative score of 11 under par (202 strokes).\n\nA trio of players, including American Michael Kim, was one stroke behind the leaders, promising an exciting final round.\n\nKoepka is participating in his third consecutive week on the European circuit, after not making the cut at the Irish Open and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.\n\nHis last victory dates back to August 2024 in the LIV Golf League, at The Greenbrier, West Virginia.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I feel like my game has gone in the right direction. The results haven&#8217;t come. I feel much closer. I&#8217;m happy with the work I&#8217;ve done in the last few months, and nothing has been proven, so I hope to have the opportunity to win tomorrow.<\/p><cite>Brooks Koepka<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nKoepka attributed his excellent round at the Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bret\u00e8che mainly to his good performance with the putt. In his round, he achieved eight birdies, but regretted a bogey on the 18th hole, a par 3, after missing a putt of six feet.\n\nLee, for his part, secured his first PGA Tour title this year by winning the Houston Open.\n\nGuido Migliozzi of Italy (66) and Marcus Armitage of England (71) joined Kim in the group one stroke behind.
