A basket by her brought New York within three points with 2:17 left. However, Bonner’s shot, from 13 feet, which beat the shot clock with 1:13 remaining, extended Phoenix’s lead to five points.\n\nThe Mercury’s three stars, Kahleah Copper, Satou Sabally, and Thomas, combined to score or assist on 74 of the team’s 79 points. Sabally achieved her first playoff double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds.\n\nPhoenix dominated on the boards, with a 49-33 advantage. Copper grabbed nine rebounds and scored 12 points, including a spectacular basket that restored Phoenix’s five-point lead with 32.8 seconds left.\n\n\n

So, while it may be memorable, it’s still tough.”\n\nPhoenix and Minnesota have faced each other four times, with the Lynx winning the regular season series 3-1.
