However, Messi showed his class by assisting Jordi Alba with a masterful pass with the outside of his foot in the 12th minute, putting the Herons ahead early.\n\nMessi was close to increasing the lead in the 28th minute, but his shot hit the post. Alba returned the favor in the 41st minute, assisting Messi, who scored to put the score at 2-0.
