Carter Hart Will Not Return to the Flyers: A New Chapter in His Career<\/h2>\n\nPhiladelphia Flyers general manager Danny Briere revealed this Tuesday that goaltender Carter Hart’s agent informed the team of the player’s decision not to re-sign with the franchise. Hart, who is in free agent condition, will be able to sign with any NHL team next month.\n\nHart is one of five players who were cleared of sexual assault charges related to an incident in 2018, when they were part of Canada’s junior team. The NHL has reinstated the players, allowing them to sign contracts from October 15 and participate in games from December 1.\n\nThe NHL’s decision came approximately seven weeks after Hart, along with Michael McLeod, Dillon Dube, Cal Foote, and Alex Formenton, were found not guilty by a judge in London, Ontario. The Canadian government informed the players’ lawyers last month that it would not appeal the ruling.\n\n\n
