However, the Lynx, the team with the best WNBA record, reacted and dominated the rest of the game.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;I want a fair fight. I really do. I want a clean game, but I love the fact that both teams are playing with heart. They are fighting. But I would like it to be fair.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Natalie Nakase<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nNakase argued that the arbitration affected her team&#8217;s momentum, especially when Iliana Rupert received fouls on rebound plays.\n\nThe coach also pointed out that the Lynx, being the best team in the league, do not need refereeing help.\n\nThe Lynx finished the game with 23 team fouls and 24 free throws, while the Valkyries accumulated 22 fouls and 27 free throws.\n\nLynx coach Cheryl Reeve mentioned that there was a change in officiating at halftime, but that it was not a determining factor in the outcome of the game.\n\nNatisha Hiedeman, from the Lynx, scored 18 points, a career high.
