This agreement, signed this Monday, ensures medical coverage during the sporting event, scheduled from September 28 to October 12 in the &#8220;City of Jaya&#8221;, with sub-venues in La Vega, Salcedo and Nagua.\n\nThe signing ceremony took place at the SNS headquarters, where both institutions pledged to provide timely medical attention to accredited personnel at the sporting event.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWith this agreement, we designate the SNS as the official provider of hospital medical services, through a network of public hospitals in all provinces and cities where the sports activities of the San Francisco 2025 School Games will take place,\u201d explained the executive director of INEFI, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella.<\/p><cite>Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, Executive Director of INEFI<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nRodr\u00edguez Mella emphasized the importance of this agreement for the protection of athletes:\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;For us, the most important thing is to preserve the health of all the athletes who will participate in these Games, that&#8217;s why we are signing this agreement.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, Executive Director of INEFI<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe director of the SNS, doctor Mario Lama, announced that the San Vicente de Pa\u00fal Regional University Hospital, in San Francisco de Macor\u00eds, will serve as a reference hospital center for the care of athletes and accredited personnel during the event.\n\nIn addition, the Doctor Luis Manuel Morillo King Regional University Hospital in La Vega, and the Doctor Pascasio Toribio Piantini Provincial Hospital in Salcedo, prepared to attend to cases of care and sports traumatology, will be integrated into the assistance network.\n\nIn each center, a medical coordinator will be designated and rooms will be reserved according to the required specialties.
