Ricky was one of City&#8217;s most beloved and revered supporters, and will always be remembered for a brilliant boxing career that saw him win world titles at welterweight and super-lightweight.<\/p><cite>Manchester City<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe club added: &#8220;Everyone at the club wishes to send our sincerest condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.&#8221;\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0914%2Fr1545313_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nCity legend Vincent Kompany shared a photo with Hatton and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.\n\nBayern Munich coach Kompany commented: &#8220;We will miss you Ricky. Our thoughts are with the family and friends. Rest in peace, legend.&#8221;\n\nManchester United&#8217;s top scorer, Wayne Rooney, also posted a photo showing him in the ring with Hatton.\n\nRooney said: &#8220;Devastated. A legend, a warrior and a great person.
